As we continue to focus on employer/employee relationships and bringing people back work, this is good time to talk about the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Interactive Process, and what kinds of conversations employers should be having with their employees who may need accommodations for COVID-19 related reasons.

I know not every employer is a covered entity under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this is one of those times when not acting like a jerk and hiding behind a (valid) legality is probably better in the long run. Employees have long memories and lots of friends. Don’t be on the wrong side of bad PR.
