As we begin reopening the economy, small business owners are rightfully worried about the possibility of a COVID-19 related Worker’s Comp claim or a claim by a customer/vendor for contracting COVID-19. To be honest, these are low probability events and would be difficult to prove by a claimant. That is not to say employers should not take every reasonable precaution, but let’s have a little perspective of the nature of these kinds of claims.
