13 Jun Vaccination Programs & OSHA
To be honest, I think OSHA is sending out some mixed messages when it comes to COVID vaccine programs, masking, employee safety, and similar matters. While they endorse the CDC’s guidance regarding fully vaccinated individuals, they still have some less than clear guidance. In this video, I address the new guidance, which is interspersed by OSHA here.
What I think OSHA is trying to do is say “fully vaccinated people are okay, but employers should fear non-vaccinated people and the fallout from that.” One nice thing OSHA has done is say that if an employer has an employer-sponsored vaccine effort, an employee’s adverse reaction to the vaccine is no longer a reportable incident.
