Meet our Office Administrator: About Kelly
Kelly, a Frederick, Maryland native, joins the team as our Office Administrator. Kelly’s passion for social justice and human rights led her to live and work in Ecuador where she serves as the Program Director at the Hearts of Gold Foundation. Kelly co-designed and manages the only capacity building program for nonprofit leaders in Ecuador, uniting 40+ nonprofit leaders, impacting over 5,000 lives. Prior to her travels abroad, Kelly worked as a Victim Advocate at the Heartly House, and you may have seen her making your latte at Frederick Coffee Company while she was working on her Masters.
While not working with nonprofit leaders or doing the behind-the-scenes work of your legal needs, Kelly can be found traveling (more often than not their Royal Enfield motorcycle), learning for fun, blogging, or exploring the outdoors. Coffee, music, and positivity are her perfect combo.
Kelly is a 2015 magna cum laude graduate from American University’s School of International Service where she received her MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution with a focus in Latin America, and a 2012 summa cum laude graduate from Towson University with a double major in Cultural Anthropology and International Studies with a minor in Spanish.
